I'm Heer. As a self-proclaimed gut and hormone enthusiast, I believe that the foundation of a healthy body lies in a healthy gut.

Welcome ! 

Born in India and grew up in New Jersey but you can tag me as a Texas girl any day. I love it here although Texas allergies are a real piece of S*#T! 

Despite years-long belief that I was maintaining a healthy lifestyle through restrictive eating and exercise, I now know that I didn't even know what it truly means to have a healthy body - all thanks to Nutritional Therapy. I dealt with a range of health issues for as long as I can remember.

Some of them were:
  • Fatigue and exhaustion 
  • Acne [as a teenager and adult]
  • Keratosis pilaris
  • Constipation and bloating
  • Anemia 
  • Intermittent evening headaches 
  • Allergies and sinus infections
  • Weight gain 
  • Hormonal imbalances - mood swings, PMS etc. 
  • Chronic yeast infections 
  • Recurring UTIs 

Through my personal experiences and after helping several clients, I am here to bridge the gap between your current state and your desired state of well-being. I understand the frustration of being repeatedly informed that your lab results are normal, while you continue to experience symptoms that make you feel anything but "normal."

I help create a detailed plan based on your goals that includes step by step protocol that creates the results that you have been waiting for. The protocols I create will encompass various aspects, including nutrient-rich dietary recommendations, supplement suggestions, and lifestyle modifications, all aimed at meeting your goals and improving your overall health.

START here

Around 26, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Some of these symptoms made sense but even with thyroid medication (which I was instantly prescribed as first line of action), all of them continued to be part of my day-to-day life. My curiosity with my degrading health became even stronger as years passed and I continued to combat these issues with classic fad diets with no real results.

In simple terms, my body was screaming for nutrients while I was too busy offering it low calories, low fat, high protein, HIIT workouts. After two pregnancies (each one took forever to conceive and the numerous issues during them), I hit rock bottom in my health journey where these symptoms worsened, and weight loss became my primary goal.

Eventually, these fad diets led me to experience additional symptoms like joint pain, muscle weakness, a longer recovery period after regular workouts etc.. As if all of that wasn't enough, I began to view carbohydrates and fats as my arch-nemeses, leading to a toxic relationship with food.

After consistently searching for answers, I basically decided to take things in my own hand. I wanted all the answers of my ‘whys’ which somehow led me to Nutritional Therapy.

What intrigued me about NT was that it emphasized the importance of nutrient-dense foods and didn't promote any fad diets. Instead, it encouraged incorporating the foods that are not only nutritious but serve a purpose to our body's specific nutritional needs.

Overall, Nutritional Therapy recognizes that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution that works for everyone. Every body is different and has specific needs. After implementing small changes on my pace, I noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being. Today:

  • I have consistent energy throughout the day
  • I have no acne or KP breakouts
  • I am living a life without yeast, UTI and sinus infections which at one point felt impossible.
  • I bid farewell to digestive symptoms like constipation and bloating
  • No PMS symptoms! 
  • No more headaches
  • Joint pain pretty much disappeared
  • I even dropped a few lbs. in the process

Since each individual is unique, with their own distinct biology, it truly helps to develop a bio-individual plan in order to achieve supportive care.
